Also called Paper Birch, this striking tree grows up to 80 feet tall and features white bark and green leaves that turn yellow in fall. It's an important source of food for many species including the Tiger Swallowtail butterfly. It can tolerate a wide variety of moisture levels and soil types but it requires lots of sun. A well positioned Paper Birch will live between 30 and 50 years.
